Ledger Live is the official app used to manage your Ledger hardware wallet and all your crypto assets in one secure dashboard. While Ledger Live doesn't use a traditional “username + password” login, it does offer powerful security layers to keep your assets safe.

Unlike most apps, Ledger Live doesn’t authenticate you online. Instead, your “login” is protected through:

    • This ensures only the physical device holder can authorize actions.
  2. Optional Ledger Live Password Lock

  3. Your Recovery Phrase (Never Used for Login!)
    • Your 24-word recovery phrase is not a login method.
    • It should never be typed into Ledger Live or any website. It’s only for restoring a hardware wallet if it’s lost or damaged.
